We were fortunate to fly in a group of balloons one morning last January over the ancient temples of Bagan in Myanmar. This was a fantastic experience from the company Eastern Safaris and you’ll see some photos taken from the air in the next posts here on my Blog. But for now we want to show you the amazing scene of balloons taking off in the distance over this amazing historic site in Bagan just at sunrise. More than 10,000 Buddhist temples were built between the 11th and 13th centuries and there are around 2200 temples and pagodas still on site today. The temple in the distance near the balloons is the impressive Ananda temple. One other panorama shows the Thatbyinnyu temple unders the stars in a night scene surrounded by many other temples.

We were located on the top of Shwegugyi Temple to capture the scene with this interactive virtual tour.

The Disney Fantasy is a masterpiece of design and engineering boasting Art Nouveau allure alongside modern technological advancements. Click on the image for an interactive virtual tour of the ship with multiple viewpoints.

The Disney Fantasy is a large cruise ship with nearly 4000 passengers capacity that is currently sailing on week long Caribbean cruises. This impressive guest capacity is not counting the crew to support a full fledge Disney cruise with another 1500 souls on board. Needless to say that this ship is like a floating city with a core of state-of-the-art engineering and elaborate architectural design. The building cost of the Fantasy is estimated to be around US$ 950 and it was put in service in 2012. Part of the Disney Cruise Line fleeet the Fantasy is the sister ship of the Disney Dream.

We were fortunate enough to work on building a virtual tour of some areas of this great ship. To do so we photographed many areas of the ship and produced 360 degree panoramas outside and inside this giant of the sea. You can discover in this tour the majestic scale of the ship from the outside while it is docked in Cozumel, Mexico. Then you can enter into the atrium lobby with multiple levels. It is hard to believe that you are standing inside a ship and not inside a large hotel on land!

Hovering over the top deck of the ship hosting 1250 staterooms there is a transparent tube making it’s way across the two chimneys. This is the popular AquaDuck attraction which is the first water coaster at sea that also goes above the water.

You may have also a quick peek at the inside of a Stateroom on Deck 6 and have a look as if you were standing on the outside verandah of the stateroom under a moonlight sky.

Besides what you can see in the virtual reality tour there are many areas of the ship that you will discover only if you ever set foot in real life on the Fantasy. Restaurants, nightclubs, boutiques, theatres, play areas for kids and adults and more are some places to enjoy and be entertained on cruises. All of this with the magic of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Disney princesses and many Walt Disney characters that you can meet-up and take pictures with along the way. A cruise on the Disney Fantasy is a real treat and fun for all the family!
